Most people have breakdown cover for their car, now this cover is available for your home.

Home Assist offers rapid, expert help when an emergency affects your home.
While damage to carpets, furniture etc caused by a plumbing or drainage emergency will be covered by your home insurance, it is unlikely it will cover the cost of emergency repairs.

With Home Assist, you will have complete peace of mind. Just one call to our Emergency Hotline – open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – fixes all.

We’ll arrange for one of the repairers on our nationwide list of approved tradesmen to resolve the problem. They will prevent further damage to your home, make it safe and secure and reduce unreasonable discomfort, risk or difficulty. All you have to do is confirm the job’s been completed to your satisfaction and we cover the cost.

For new policyholders: Free emergency 12 months' KeyClub membership. This is worth £29.50 and covers loss or damage to car keys and domestic house keys and locks.

There are four levels to Home Assist covering everything from internal and external plumbing and drains, electrics and central heating right the way through to vandalism, break-ins and even storm damage.
